You caught a nice play of light on this black and white of roses. Why did you nip of the bouquet at the right? This is well exposed and the detail is clearly seen.
I like it entering from the right so it's not just a shot of some flowers in the middle of a shot.
Fair enough.
Congrats to you!
Thank you

...and they always look nicer in a Waterford crystal vase. (5 years and 655 days ago)
Clear tight composition. Good contrast between the glass vase and the background.
Full of romance and nice sharpness too, but it is the romance that made it for me!

Nothing like a few roses and wine below the Eiffel Tower with your lovely wife! (5 years and 1048 days ago)
In our PHoto Club we have a Nat Geo photographer who did a shoot in Korea and he came back with many a tilted photo image, SO, I take my hat off to you for getting your butt outta that rut and tilting this image and bringing a bit more excitement with this presentation. You have inspired me to try something like this too, thank you. I love the roses and wine all in the city of LOVE...how perfect. Sharpness is on the bottle but a different dof could have included sharpness on the roses as well, still there is a lovely romantic story to your presentation. Images often tell us something about the photographer, they reveal you to us...and now we all know you are a romantic! Smooch

They feel guillotined but are nice and sharp against a non obtrusive background.
