Very nice. I think I might crop a little from the left and bottom to move the spines over to the left a little. But a cool shot
Man you're quick kyricom...just 4 mins from uploading. But if you look at the "bays" between the thorns, you'll see that the "green fingers" on the left form a balancing counter-weight to the main stem on the right, both in form and color. Hope that helps.
Absolutely. It's YOUR shot. I just tend to like things de-centered, but I know many don't.
I think that this works centered because of the contrast between the sharp/crisp subject and the soft background. I also like it this way because of the vertical orientation. If it were square, I wouldn't like it that way.
Thanks downoffthedragon. It's now 2-1

Water can be unpredictable. At one time, we can capture a very interesting shape of the water, but at the other time, it seems that the shape isn't really formed to what our imagination is. Fortunately, after capturing many times, one of them comes with the shape of Tigger from Winnie the Pooh :) (5 years and 3042 days ago)
Great photo and capture of the water. How many did you take before you came up with one you liked?
well done
@ctbugan: around 50 - 60 shots including playing with different shutter speed, different distance, different angle and different position
Oooh - I see him too
