Lovely concept, i think a closer view would favor you even more.
But that's what Hi-Res is for ^_^
I have to agree...you have too much going on around her...it draws away from her. Personally I would have made it a portrait to cut out some of the access greenery (which is very beautiful, but not the subject).

Photo taken of an old glass clock frame sitting on 2 layers of gel paper with studio lights above and below the object. Edited using Lightroom 3.0 with adjustments in negative exposure; 50% contrast and 100% clarity; slight increase in vibrance with negative saturation (5 years and 2825 days ago)
I see purple and blue. But it could be that I don't see that shade of red. Did you know not everyone sees the same amount of colors, lol = )
Looks purple to me, too.
