I painted this a while back using the following image in the source. Its a photograph by Salvador Dali. Its one of my favorites which is why I wanted to paint it.

Took me a second to realize what the skull was made of. That's pretty cool
I know, The photo version is baffling. Not sure how he created it.

Very nice. I like the angle and exposure. Wish there was just a little more black on top and bottom though
Me too! The way it was hung was on a garage door rail for when you open it so I had no choice but to crop it. Thank you for your compliment and insight!

I really like how you have achieved a minimalist feel with this yet the grass and animals in the BG still leave you with a sense of the open plains

That surely took awhile to make, hard work.
Boy did it ever! By the time I was done painting 2 people I was popped, never mind the photos!
