I think a little too much flash was used.

This was taken in the middle of the night. Long exposure with light only coming from inside my home.
If you look closely in High Resolution, there is a blue spot. This was a sparkle reflection I was seeing from the dew drop on the blade. (5 years and 3476 days ago)
love the black background.. excellent lights. Good work!

Anole snoozing on my back porch. Used a lessor digital camera.. this is as big as it gets. (5 years and 3486 days ago)
The flash is too harsh, and the DOF to shallow, but at least you got the photo.
best
How can a lizard seem so cute?
when its belly is full.. hehe
No flash was used. My neighbor was holding an LED flashlight about 5ft above him. The lenses used are stacked magnifiers that equal about 16+ and it's meant to have almost 0 DOF. Just a thin line of focus that changes as the lizard breaths.
so cute.... gl author )
