Just a simple smoke from an incense (5 years and 2906 days ago)
Perfect, very sharp shot
The shot was taken by using incense behind the toy house, small candle inside the house to provide warm colour and flashlight from the side to enhance the smoke effect (5 years and 2906 days ago)
Perfect, very sharp shot
Is this real smoke ? . Too perfect to be true .
@roon: It's real
nice
Very nice shot, IMHO the roof has too much light, it adds weight. Anyway, this is a great catch, good luck!

Great timing!
amazing
Unbelievable....what an amazing shot! Fantastic Job...good luck.
Thanks for the positive comments guys
How many bulbs did you have to break before not breaking the filament?
I had 7 lightbulbs to start with. 2 of them didnt get past the breaking stage since the filament got knocked off. From the remaining 5, 2 of them I missed the timing, 1 I did a different technique and dint like it, 1 of them the focus got knocked, but it would have been amazing if it was focused. Then finally I got 1 good one and this is it. :-0
Best picture ever! oh well, almost the best picture ever! Congratulations, great shot, good luck!

Can't appreciate the focal point through all the smoke. Artistic, but hides the beauty of the nose shape...

This is beautiful, if you don't mind Id love a few pointers. would be greatly appreciated. Wondering about how to get coloring of the smoke, lighting and exposure. Even if you do this at the end of the competition. i would like to try something like this. Sorry if this is a little unorthadoxed. but i really admire this piece.
I agree with Sheridan . Is this real smoke ? . Too perfect to be true .
@Sheridan: Hi there, I'm following Gavin Hoey's tutorial (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J2d281_HoEQ) to get this result. What I did in the post processing step is increasing the contrast to make the smoke sharper. I just realise that the smoke colour becoming bluish afterward, but my guess, it could be caused by playing with white balance on the camera. Have a go and see what you can get Hope it helps
@roon: Fortunately, it's a real smoke
well done
