In the summer, people around here take their snow mobiles and see if they can get up enough speed to get all the way across a pond. (5 years and 905 days ago)
good stop action shot, would though crop a tad of the right in this, even though it would cut down the wash behind

Not all fly south for the winter. Some are choosing to stay close to the city! (5 years and 1017 days ago)
This photograph evokes many a memory for me (a Canadian who used to eat these with our First Nation people who hunt them)...so thank you for the memories! They mate for life.
The photograph is pure and natural with good exposure sharpness on all motionless geese save for the one that is walking towards the crowd. Your exposure is skillfully done and this was not easy to shoot with all that white but you did well. A different POV would have transported this image into another realm of seeing, feeling , however, had you bent your knees to shoot them they may have taken off. Your WB button was well calibrated as the snow is white and not blue or purple. A well rendered image. Thank you and a pleasure to view.
