Getting ready to shoot the recent solar eclipse. (5 years and 464 days ago)
A total solar eclipse showing Baily's Beads around the edge of the moon's surface. The Baily's beads effect is a feature of total solar eclipses. As the moon "grazes" by the Sun during a solar eclipse, the rugged lunar limb topography allows beads of sunlight to shine through in some places, and not in others. The name is in honor of Francis Baily who first provided an exact explanation of the phenomenon in 1836. (5 years and 673 days ago)

I think you must crop the height of your panorama to respect the minimun proportion (1x5) stated in the contest rule.

everybody is a photographer until......
until what..
"Everyone is a photographer... until they find manual mode" (with about 15 icons from cameras for different functions)
Aha.. that's so true.. I know people who claim to be photographers and shoot with nothing more than their phone, poor souls.
....until they read National Geographic or joined Pxleyes.
Well, yeah... you have to have time.
Glad to see the question burning was answered.
