The name is for a recipe - look up eggs and soldiers on Google. It stands for a boiled egg and the soldiers are the toast fingers.

Love the plate and the light, not to sure about the salt and pepper mills, the eye keeps going to them.wonder if they would have been better on the right.

I thought about that friiskiwi but I have been experimenting with empty space. I can see your point , maybe if I played around with DOF and had the salt and pepper shakers OOF.
Too bad I have already eaten it all.

I can understand that, it looks very tasty.

I think that the compotition could be better...imho...(maybe place the batteries with the head looking towards the camera ,zoom a little bit, focus on the middle one & play with the DOF(depth of field).All so lighting could be better(from the left or right side to create a game of shadows between the batteries),but is just me...Good luck author!
