I kind of agree. It just seems the worst pain he's focusing on is a tension headache or a nagging wife, reminding him to go mow the lawn.

it's not really what the contest is about though........there is no real pain and hurt here, just boredom and maybe fed up with his missus nagging him all the time..........imo, it is off topic.

Has a Wuthering Heights feel about it. Nicely composed shot, a lovely model but for me I can't see too much sorrow. It's just a little too staged for me.

I agree with Gubbles, and your granddaughter looks great... but given the date on the tombstone you might try a sepia finish to make it look "old."

i would love to add sepia but i thought we couldnt mess with the photos in the photography contests?thought only cropping and minor level adjustments are allowed
