No offence, but I'm trying to see the artistic value in the portrayal. The ships in the horizon are more interesting than the oil spill in the water. Can you see where I'm coming from?

It's a great idea but the POV could have been from a different angle and greatly improved the shot. Perhaps shooting lower to the ground and putting your focus more on the center of the puddle, creating more of a depth of field.

I can definitely see the mon, I think this could have been captured a little more crisply with a faster shutter speed though.

Thanks guys. yeah DOF is short because I was zoomed in. I had my sis hold up card board in the background to block out distracting stuff and I just barly got it to fit in the screen!

then you need to learn a little more about f stops and lens speed!.....good attempt tho, well done

I know about those, but my lighting wasn't good enough so I needed my fstop lower to let more light in.
