Old tree, new buds (5 years and 3508 days ago)
I can see where you are coming from, but the leaves looks more like old dried ones than new spring leaves.
those are not the leaves but some fluffy, yellow long buds that come just before the leaves appear.

sepia tone from camera (5 years and 3520 days ago)
excellent capture, no doubt about it, but, imo, it would be much better in full color. There are some shots which do not work in sepia, and imo, this is one of them.
Maybe ... but the flower is white, and the fly is black so...no colors for full color... that's why, sepia
I am going to have to fully agree with the previous commenter. I feel that most macro shots, look much better with enhanced, saturated colours, because usually little things are quite colourful and colour makes the image more lively. I agree that the image is fantastic, detailed, good compositionally etc, however does not work with sepia here.

weird mushroom but a nice shot
Not weird sautéed in butter
I've never seen a real morel with that deep of pits before. Is this a fake/poisonous morel? It is hard to tell the difference sometimes. MMMM morels are so good!!!!
Really beautiful
Thank you guys for your comments.
I had no idea about the name of this mushroom, I found it in my garden when I came there first time after winter. Pingenvy, are they are really eatable ????
weird I have never seen that before
The top is a bit dark for a true morel......but yes morels are delicious if done right.....Spring mushroom hunting in the wooded areas is such a treasure hunt.....nice shot and good luck to you!!
