When I'm feeling sad
I simply remember my favorite things

jerostone - Thank you for your comment and observation. Perhaps R Rhoades but mostly for old time country started primarily by Roy Acuff and others in traditional country music. Sometimes called the slide gitar or steel gitar in general terms. Great sound.
Ah, yes, I know! Very stupid of me. That Rhoads, phenomenal a performer as he might have been, he was mainly heavy metal, although rumor has it that he was influenced by too many different kinds of music
