The photo was taken on 27 December 2012 in Australia, in which summer time. But last year, the weather was a bit tricky and there was no clear boundary between summer and winter (5 years and 2804 days ago)

Thanks CMYK46, the dichotomy shown as in the midst of Summer (for Australia), it supposed to be hot all day and very dry. The photo was taken when the storm just about to arrived in Melbourne (suburban area). The HDR version is made to accentuate the stormy feeling of that day
