Lovely effect, but i don't think selective desaturation is allowed.

nope...no selective effect here, its not in the rule.
i just used these:
- 6.1.: Level
- 6.2.: Curves
- 6.3.: Hue
- 6.4.: Saturation
- 6.5.: Color adjustments/shifting
- 6.6.: Brightness
- 6.7.: Contrast

I'm not sure. I find the blossoms at the upper left a little distracting. I think I might have snipped those off (but... you couldn't have known what it would look like before PP)

The vehicle really kills the shot. The tire cropped doesn't good either. I think you should re-shoot it.
