Author, although these objects are symmetric I'm not sure this was the best angle to show that. I'd say it's certainly on theme but in the future you'll get higher votes if you showcase your subject better.

It would look better if the horizon was even - it leans down to the left too much and is distracting from the focal point.
This was taken while driving, and we aren't allowed to edit for this contest so I didn't adjust it.
There are a lot of edits allowed, and straightening images and cropping is definitively allowed.
Easiest way to explain what you can do;
Just about anything that is applied to the whole image. e.g. you can desaturate by channels (remove all red, etc), but you can't desaturate part of an an image, by using masks etc.
Lately rules have also been changed to allow burn and dodge, which has of course been used in darkrooms forever.
