I though looking at the angle of the photo you had set it up.

nah, actually i laid out on the grass as i was taking pictures..i wanted more sky than ground and surroundings. Luckily my model was patient and allowed me to keep telling him to "Jump again" to be sure i got plenty of shots. amazing how many shots a person can do of the exact same thing and find flaws in every one of them. This one was the best "physical" positioning, although being almost out of frame on the one side makes it maybe not the best "artistic" positioning.

The set up goes like this.
My model is in the shower with the water falling on her face.
A black sheet on the tiles as a b/g.
The make up is professional (kryolan) & waterproof.
An external flash was used.
f:13.
iso 100.
1.5 sec exposure.

Too much blue but the final result has great impact!

personally, I think the blue makeup makes the shot!...........it is a focal point which brings it all together. well done author, great work from you, as usual.

In my opinion, I think it would have looked so much better without any make-up at all. It looks very fake because most woman either take their make-up off before they take a shower if it is waterproof OR it would come right off when the water hit it.
The pose, the black background, the lighting and the water is all great.
