great shot, now I will have to think of something else.

author says:

Thanks! Well, I had to climb over the fence, because it is a restricted area, get to the center of it, lie flat down on my back and shoot it. Luckily, thanks to the heat (some 38C), no-one was around to see me

friiskiwi says:

LOL, al in the interest of art, well done.

Taken at Lochard Gorge, Victoria, Australia. The deadly coastline at Lochard Gorge, made famous by it's namesake, the "Loch Ard" which sank here in 1878. The rugged cliffs and towers such as this one claimed the loss of over 50 shipwrecks. Taken with a Nikon D40X with an AF-S 55-200mm lense around noon. Converted to black and white and contrast changed to reflect Ansel Adams' style. (5 years and 2846 days ago)

This was a tree I stood directly under to take this shot. I was amazed how alive it was to find a stump with no branches connected to the one tree... (5 years and 2870 days ago)
