This church is in the foothills out in the country between two towns near us. It was built in the 1700's and has been kept the same ever since. It isn't used in the winter. (5 years and 2759 days ago)

why thank you... I am very fond of HDR
I like the idea of HDR here but it seems a bit too much as you can see the major halo around the trees to the left. Other than that and maybe straighten the horizon I really do like this.
Horizon has been straightened.
I agree it looks surreal but when I tone it down, I lose the rocks and thus the visual impact so going to leave it for now. Thanks!

It's a beautiful photograph, but isn't it a little dark for a summer photo?
The photo was actually taken between 6 or 7pm.. I was setting up the tripod for sunset pictures later.
4 o;clock on the dock is a catchphrase at the cottage.... we could sit there til 6 or as late as midnight.. Might add the original 3 exposures in the SBS.
a fine HDR..beautiful family photos ... the sunset is very romantic!
