I attempted to reshoot. I used a cheap macro tube that doesn't have auto-focus or aperture and this is the result. No masking, blur tool or photoshopping was used. (5 years and 2810 days ago)

diamond is almost to sharp compared to the rest of the picture...looks like a mask and some sort of blur was used on the rest of the picture.

The Forbidden City was the Chinese imperial palace from the Ming Dynasty to the end of the Qing Dynasty. It is located in the middle of Beijing, China, and now houses the Palace Museum.
