After a disappointing day of autumn photography, and sunset. I was on my drive home, when the sky lit orange and red from the dust in the upper atmosphere well after sunset. Revealing the setting crescent moon. I found the nearest tree, and shot this from the side of a busy highway with no tripod. (5 years and 2866 days ago)
Wonderful colors!
beautiful
gorgeous photo .. a lil camera shake visible on the tree, but not bad for what u had or didn't have (tri pod) to work with. I always carry a small bean bag with me for just such a situation and use the car hood or top to use to stablize the camera. Make sure to turn vehichle off to eliminate the vibration from the motor.
Great color... just wish the bottom of the tree was visable

" 'Welcome aboard, Mr.Pilgrim,' said the loudspeaker. 'Any questions?' Billy licked his lips, thought a while, inquired at last: 'Why me?' " That is a very Earthling question to ask, Mr.Pilgrim. Why you? Why us for that matter? Why anything? Because this moment simply is. Have you ever seen bugs trapped in amber?' 'Yes' Billy, in fact, had a paperweight in his office which was a blob of polished amber with three ladybugs embedded in it. 'Well, here we are, Mr.Pilgrim, trapped in the amber of the moment. There is no why' " (5 years and 2867 days ago)

This little guy is less than 3 inches head to tail and rarely sits still much less for a photo. (5 years and 2867 days ago)
Nice crisp sharp shot, nice exposure, and good use of bokeh. Rule of thirds is done well, but I would of had him on the otherside of the pic and had him looking into the pic and not out of it. Overall a very nice pic. thanks for sharing

Great shot, and the date is there, even though it's a little hard to read.
