What is the "Haka?"

Haka is a traditional ancestral war cry, dance or challenge from the Māori people of New Zealand,

Very interesting author...I'm intrigued. Can you provide more info on this 'ceremony'?

shame it's hidden by the fence and trees.

Way too dark. It could be a statue of Larry, Moe and Curly or any three strangers off the street. There is no detail to let the viewer identify who the statue portrays, and their silhouettes are not synonymous poses for them, either.

A high res would be nice

It would have been good if you would have used a flash. The light source behind them is taking all of the "attention"; there is no light attention being brought upon the statues. Try to use a flash (flash is good even though it may seem like many times you hear it is not)
