Precious metal, not that fake stuff everyone else carries around. (5 years and 3318 days ago)
Great composition & lighting.. perhaps a little more contrast imo..
If that's truly an entire ounce of pure silver then you should melt them down because silver is going for A LOT more than a dollar an ounce (mainly because of the two countries we invaded - wars always drive up the prices of precious metals)
Nice shot, btw these 1 oz. silver coins are worth their weight in silver in possible collector values.
Also to meltdown United States coins is illegal.
perhaps a little more contrast.
Good luck
Right now, silver is selling for over $26 an ounce. I'm not sure the Treasury Department is going to be peeking in your basement windows to see what you're doing either. I may have to look into this. Quick way to make some bucks if those are only a dollar! However, the US mint doesn't print silver weight on its coins. My guess would be Franklin Mint, or some such outfit? Theirs go for $40-50. You'll have to keep them a long time to recup your investment, as the prices of precious metals will probably fall significantly in the next four years or so (barring some worldwide economic calamity). They are nice looking coins, though.
You don't buy these to spend. They're worth their weight in silver, not in currency. They are an investment.
I agree about the contrast bump.
