The only light source was a blue led flashlight & because of the very small aperture number (f:22) it took 5 minutes to get the photo the way i wanted it!

You make a good point. It could be but I assure you its not. Look at it this way. You see the creases in the folds of paper that are really badly falling apart? Well, that's because I keep this list in my back pocket of all weekly photography contests going on, so when I go out in the field shooting, I'll have the contest themes on my mind and know what I'm looking for. I've reused the same piece of paper for the last few weeks, picking a new page to write the contest themes on so that's why it looks so beat up.
Proof enough it's not staged?
