I'm not sure whether it really is representative for old & new, but I'm sure it's a great composition!
this appears to be a painting or mural of resonably modern looking people sitting in a cafe type environment, what age is meant to be depicted in the painting?
I thought it was supposed to be early 1900, but I will see if I can get that verified.
I think this painting is is about an age much younger than that....
Wonderful idea for this. Good luck
great shot ! bonus points for originality

great idea
Very nice. Might work better if you rotated it so it was vertical (it'd look like something was about to drop)
great idea, and good photo.

When we where kids we use to sneak in our grandmothers kitchen to find the marmalade jar.
Grandmother was there all day long cooking, baking & the house was smelling just great...
Back then!
Sepia tone was made in PS cs4. (5 years and 3520 days ago)
Really good photograph compositionally. I think that the sepia conversion also works well here and of course the lovely depth of field adds to it.
Fantastic photograph author. Good luck!
Great dof and good subject matter for this contest. Good Luck.
lovely
Lovely photo, but more black/white than sepia.
wonderful photo and subject. gl
Nice entry
One of my faves for its simplicity, emotions, arrangements of the things and finally for its beauty.
beautiful but i agree with vibeke, it seems more b/w than sepia

Why won't this load as High Resolution? I checked the box, re-loaded and checked it again. Is there a reason for this?
And this smudge and "glittery" look isnt on the pic I loaded but it shows up here. Oh well, someone has to be last!! This pic looks awful!!
What is the resolution of the image you are uploading?
How do I find that?
I found it. Unfortunately, even not cropped it is still to small.
Thanks for you help.
Hi-res must be less than 5MB, and you should just let in load until the green check icon appears.
