The lower clarity really works here, you have got the feel and look of an old still life. Great work.
"We will make no wine till it's time." Lowered the clarity to give it an older feeling (5 years and 2618 days ago)

well done
Thanks, I liked very much when I saw these "sisters" enjoying the Hanami (Japanese traditional custom of enjoying the beauty of flowers, "flower" in this case almost always meaning cherry blossoms ("sakura" )
a beautiful scene, bravo
And what was interesting to see, was the sisters with a large Nikon, it is not very common here... and I still have a photo of the sister shorty explaining how to use it...

This is a nightscape, not a landscape with a dark area on the outside. It's pretty, but not the same thing.
It does say land or cityscape, nothing against night photos, IMO.
To mossy B:There are other nightscapes - why pick at mine?
Author: Not just you, there are MANY entries NOT following the contest description.
Friiswiki, if you read the contest description, it CLEARLY states:
"landscapes which have a dark area on the outside..." That does NOT mean a nightscape with an illuminated area inside. Outside means OUTSIDE.
While I can well understand the desire to not exclude submissions, there is a very clear description of the contest, along with some very clear descriptions of an example:
"For instance a photo shot from the inside of a cave or through some bushes."
Nightscapes do NOT have "a dark area on the outside."
Contest descriptions are put there for a reason, and should be followed. That is why the suggestions page clearly requests:
"Please describe your theme idea as detailed as possible, with proper grammar and syntax, so misinterpretations are reduced to a minimum."
This misinterpretation of what constitutes a landscape with a dark area on the OUTSIDE is evident.
