Nice combination of elements (rose that comes back as illustration in the clock), but personally I would make the rose in the foreground as sharp as the rest so that it looks more like the rose and clock belong to each other. Good luck!

I kind of like the visual aspect of this - but I have a question for you mods. This question has NOTHING to do with this entry per se, but it is a good example of what I'd like to know and an opportunity for (my) education. Here it is - given the new rules on "dodging and burning," would it be possible to dodge and burn over the date in this entry (for example), just leaving the time, and still be within the rules?

To be clear - I am NOT saying the date is a problem on this entry (like when they are there from the camera). I think it was on the clock so it's fine.

Cool shot author!

@ kyricom - I tossed up whether or not to crop out the date (1. because it isn't "the time" and 2. it is a bit blurry) but decided to leave it in there.
Thanks rbsgrl

Technically speaking yes, you could burn this out of the photo. That's not really what dodging and burning is for, but it could be used in this case to remove it.
