ya know I've seen their size on tv in comparison to other things but this one was huge!!! I wanted to touch it cause I always get that feeling I just need to do that to things that are dangerous but I held off. LOL

haha! I wish! My telephoto lens doesn't give me the clarity that my 100mm macro does so I was basicly right up on it. We had this rolled up extra carpet from when we got our house done and it was leaning against the wall in the garage and the little lady (dead lady now) decided to attach its web from there to the wall.

I thought it was a red-backed spider as MadameMonty described. I did wonder how the author came across one in their part of the world. Great shot - it wouldn't have survived long enough to spin a web near my house lol!
