tractor working the land (5 years and 1015 days ago)
In retirement (5 years and 1044 days ago)
This could be a photo of me...in retirement and a bit rusty around the edges!
I like your composition by the inclusion of a piece of road at the bottom and that adds depth to the image. Have you tried cropping up more to take it out and then the retired old gal would pop out at us more...this is of course all about artistic license and I bow to yours. The tractor seems a bit soft especially in the grate and upper margin, as if smudged. Have you tried to equalize the marginal lines on both sides? I enjoyed viewing this upload very much.

Taken at a country fete, this is a very old tractor (5 years and 1046 days ago)
It looks a little past it's prime.
yes its very old and believe its one of the very first tractors
Torn, tattered, teared , tractor. I like this, through and through with the inclusion of man it furthers the story. I like your crop which is unique in that you caught the tattered cab rather than the whole tractor. Still, photographically it is sharp, well exposed and full of story. Wonder what that fellow is doing in there, is he going to drive it really??
thanks still for the good comments, yes he was driving it

Many tractors were on display at the annual Renfrew Agricultural Fair. (5 years and 1048 days ago)
Not sure the process in getting this but the finished product is well cool, tractors are not the most photogenic material to work with but you have managed to make a very interesting photo.
I am drawn to the post processing of this image for you have managed to give it that kapow feel. Those teams of tractors jump out at us in sharpness and vivid colour of hot red. You may have a bit of blow out on the sky but in the scheme of things this does not matter on iota for the tractors win big time.
This is an HDR photo without going "over the top" as most do in HDR photography. If used properly to bring out the shadow areas and the highlights it can be very effective way to "see" images. I did boost the saturation just slightly though to make it pop a little more. Thanks for your comment
