agree with Ade, a little hard to see the details.
ok, done, Ade and friiskiwi, thanks for the advice. Is this better?
mmm, a little but could still us a little more contrast and maybe lower the curves a bit.....imo

good effort............interesting dof........
I feel the DOF is too shallow.
Agree with friiskiwi, DOF is a bit too shallow for this angle imo...nice try

Snap is nice...
beutiful shot, but not sure if it's on topic.
negative affects of snow. Broken tree
There does not look like so much snow to break the tree............imo
This was broken by a severe winter storm that dumped 18 inches of snow in december of this year. the ice, snow broke many things. It was not broke by some one climbing on it or anything else. You are calling me a liar and I do not appreciate this.
The tree is not dead and these comments are uncalled for and it is speculation on your part.
author, calm down, I have not called you a liar!.......I simply made a comment regarding the tree........the shot does not show that much snow on the tree......it certainly does not look as if it were enough to break the bough of such a strong tree...
OK I apologize. Yes the pic was shot after the storm, we had lots of snow and high winds twith it. Snow was piled up 6 to 8 feet high in some place and wind swept in others. This is winter storm damge and by the time I shot this it had melted a great deal.
apology accepted..............
Great shot...I think it is on theme...
I love the trees......
beautiful shot...shame about the tree, nicely done
thank you all for your comments
