Right on theme, well done AUTHOR
very nice
beautiful shot..........The only improvement, imo, would be to crop out the 'bright' section of wall at top right
You're right ade, thanks, I did so. I am an absolute beginner in photography so easy and clear suggestions help a lot.
you can shoot like this as an absolute beginner, you will go a long way.......just think a little more about composition when shooting. ....have a look for 'the rule of thirds' on the internet, it will help you..........you may well find a tutorial here on pxl...welcome and good luck.
neat
ade, please consider the gold medal as a diamond one for the "rule of thirds"!

sorry to ask, but is this photoshopped, because the blending around the head is all wrong!
It''s a good theme match but it does look a little chopped on the edge of the tree on the left side of his head.
Happy New year Ade, No it hasn't been Photoshoped, only curves and saturation, I went back and checked my Raw file.
Exposure f11 and 3.2 sec
i think we have see this before.sorry if i m wrong.
is it two images......because there is a definate difference in the colors between the head of the boy, and the trees
One image, I can supply the Raw file.
I think this looks shopped because the there is some motion blur on the scene but the boys face is sharp, ( because of flash i quess) if you look at the right side of the shot you can see the boys entry/exit point.(green blur from sweater).
I was looking moe at the green halo effect around the boy, where did that come from......and the 'hard' finished edge at the top of the halo above his head...........I am sorry, but I have to agree with Mark
Ade, I will email the original raw file to you.
mmm.........the raw shows what was shot, and it was this!..............very strange indeed.......I am sorry for doubting you, but it really does look like a bad PS job..
Thanks Ade, but I don't do BAD PS jobs (LOL)
lol...........I am sure you don't my dear!.......
If you say it's not PS'd, that's good enough for me and this is one of the better images in this contest, so good luck!
OOOO NO, Im so sorry, Ade missunderstood my comment. I meant it LOOKS shopped because.... I was trying to explain the sharp edges when i mentioned the flash and the blur as a cammera effect, Really hope this didnt offend.
