great idea, but i agree with Alan, some cropping would help too.

Very nice find. (the top of the wall is just a little overexposed)
I think is not overexposed because the top of the wall is painted with white color.
It's a great entry but I think it would look better if you leveled out the waterline. Think of it as the horizon.
The top of the wall may in fact be white but that doesn't change the fact that it is overexposed a tad, if you look at the wall to the left it's the same color but not as much detail is lost. Unfortunately if you had exposed the top of the wall properly it would have made the shadows underexposed. This is a prime example of where HDR should be used. '
Now all that being said this is a very nice find Author, and you captured the refraction well.
