wow... that's pretty bright for a house

Hi kyricom. Here in the East, people paint their houses / business premises not just for esthetic reasons, but for reasons of "luck", warding off evil spirits, etc. Colors, the numerals and images like religious icons and even the English alphabets possess, or thought to possess, (think of the McD golden arch?), mystical, magical, divine properties. And of course the locational placements of these objects and signs are also significant. Just like good luck charms and the idiosyncratic pre-match habits of sportsmen, they are all part of the human need to call on powers greater than themselves in aid of their important endeavors.
