My opinion is that the boats are the focus here, sure the sunset is prevalent but as a background, not as the subject. If this were entered into a sunset contest someone would say that the boats were the main focus not the sunset.

I think they both compliment each other, right? If the boats weren't there, it would be just another beautiful sunset. If the sunset weren't there, it would be just boring boats.

I think the boats are still in the focus but you really should have straitened the horizon.

I did straighten the horizon. I straightened it with guidelines too so there is no mistaken.

I knew who this was just from the scenery, I spent all of my summers as a kid out there, this sure does bring back good memories!
