All the people living in the area and the shop owners were kicked off their properties by the government so more land could be excavated. Re-settlement was promised but not given.
This was pre-revolution, but I doubt things have got better. (5 years and 2517 days ago)
Great capture. I like the lighting balance. Getting the rocky hills in the background really convey the remoteness and abandonment.

There are rocks formed over more than 600 million years and the name it's due to the fact that's remember the lunar craters. Also, there are many mystical sides, as it's in the parallel 14, the same passing through Machu Picchu. Are the most interesting rocks I ever seam. (5 years and 2647 days ago)

Nice photo, but very light for a night shot? 76 sec continous or stacked images. (stacked images are allowed)
76 seconds continuous. It was taken at 9:30pm and there was some bright moonlight. I have raised the light levels in post production and made some color and noise adjustments.
I see a ufo .. Nice photo.
Thanks, roon. When you can get away from all of the man made lighting, it always amazes me what the camera can see and record in the dark during a long exposure. More than the eye can see. That ufo is just another jet leaving Las Vegas, not to be reported.
