I like the framing of this shot, but the sky seems a bit 'banded' (at least on my monitor!). Still - nice feel & good title...

Very nice. This looks great in B&W
We are so used to see this place in color that to see it in black and white is very surprising !
Thanks for the nice comments.
stunning scenery

I don't know if you worked on your sky in post production, but it seems a bit "fade" and too uniform. You should crop your picture to put the horizon line at the 2/3 of your picture and cut out some sky.
I don't even know what that means so I guess my answer would be no, I didn't. I upped the contrast. The sky was a beautiful clear blue on the day I took this, plus it's in the dessert so there was no chance of clouds anyway. I like the crop the way it is but thanks anyway.
Not to mention, I am quite pleased with the results especially since I was going 80 MPH thru the mountains on the back of a motorcycle.
Amazing landscape
Maybe your pleased with the result author, but in B/W, something very important is the contrast between dark and clear areas. Your sky is all grey ... There's no texture on it ...Something is missing here ...
I'm sure that if, at home, you cut out a part of your sky, just enough to put the line that is in the middle here at the 2/3 of your picture, this photo will become more aesthetic.
I cropped as suggested. Hope this is better.
Thx!
If you don't find it better, don't do it It's just an advice, not an order ... But don't you find that now, you landscape takes much more presence ?
I'm not sure, really kind of torn between the first one and the cropped one. But since you are such a talented photographer, I'll take your word for it.
Thx again!
