This sign cracked me up because I had TERRIBLE jet lag and I was starving. Looking at the image after I took a LONG LONG LONG Sleep, it wasn't funny at all, but I got a wave of excitement from looking at it.
This was the situation, I just traveled 3000 miles backward in time (east to west jet lag) and my mind was all over the place.
We went to a SPANISH restaurant called ZOOPA which was being run by a fleet of Asian Americans all cuter then bugs ears. (With a few super White blond girls that all looked like first year freshman cheerleaders with head phones. Not a Spanish/Mexican person in the place.
The food was SPECTACULAR and the whole experience was fantastic. But it seemed funny that an entire SPANISH themed restaurant, didn't have a single person of Spanish decent in the place. That was so cool. And when suffering from jet lag, it's the funniest thing a person could ever see, especially with this sign of literary worth LOL (5 years and 2785 days ago)

Old indeed, is it also an old photo? As this is not at all like your usually excellent photos.
Ouch ... You really did not like the photo right?

But you're right, I can not say it's one of my best ... Sometimes the desire to participate in a contest without having something better in hand we end just putting anything ... Happens ...
The first sewing machine from my mother, was also pedal .... his mark was "Vigorelli". Today also would be part of a museum. Your photo made me remember it.
Thanks...
