This is my 94 year old Father-in-Law. He is a decorated World War II vet who actually landed at Omaha Beach on D-Day. He was wounded twice. Once on D-Day, and once later walking across France into Germany. (5 years and 588 days ago)

This photo needs to be viewed in high res, it looks much better than this soft looking upload. It is too bad that this image doesn't communicate with the viewer.

author says:

Yeah. All of the photos should be viewed in high res.

I agree...why does the site even bother with soft large uploads I wonder?

If you wander the hills in our area you may come across old homestead ruins, and as you see here, family graveyards that are no longer tended. These are the graves of the Lord family. John Lord, the one on the left, was a veteran of the American Revolution (as described on the stone) who died in 1839. This was around Memorial Day, and some local farmer placed an American flag at his grave. (5 years and 2586 days ago)

I replaced the Vet flags because it was a model within Chevy and not the main company. The Bentley fits the contest description better. (5 years and 2965 days ago)
