Lamantine I understand what your saying but the point of the contest was the color not the water, Yes if it was on a black backdrop the glass and the water would have looked better but the color would have lost it's vibrance.

Nice texture here but the glass decreases the clarity of the photo (in high-resolution)
May be you should take a shot with out the glass & see the difference.
Maybe it's better with out the glass.
Just a thought.

I think this IS without the glass... I know the high-resolution sucks, that's because of my camera... And I don't have the filter anymore, we threw it away...

this is really cool except the the lower left corner is way out of focus. If it were used for an actual pattern or texture, the whole image would need to be focused.
