"Try to capture the beauty of the eyes and focus on facial expressions." Is the full sentence. I focused on the expression part. No where does it mention that the eyes have to be visible but it only mention that one should "try" to capture the beaty of the eyes, not that it has to be done for the contest.

Grass usually isn't very loose as it has roots, but you might have wanted to "lose" some of the grass.
