This is just my opinion, but I think the colors would pop out more if you adjusted the white balance. this is a bit yellow.

author says:

Thanks but I chose to go with warmth of golden glow.

Phenomenal subject, I think a slightly lower angle may have been better but this is still superb.

Thanks a lot Locksmagic, I've re-cropped the image, hope now it's better

Really beautiful, but is water colours really a writing tool?

avatar locksmagic

How are paintbrushes and paint not a writing tool?

No one said they are not.
If this was a "paint" contest this set up would be perfect.
It's a writing tools contest so i think that a letter or some sort of writing would be more fitting instead of a paint but that's just me Adam!

So if I show a pencil drawing a picture of a stick figure it's no longer a writing tool but is now a drawing tool? Come on people, just because it isn't writing atm doesn't mean it is no longer a writing tool!

author says:

This set up is not intentional, it is a shot I took along the road to an artist who was reproducing a scene of Budapest

Kanji is written with paint brushes, since kanji uses paint brushes, does that mean it's not letters?
