thanks everyone for the nice comments... and yes Ichappell, it was a very cold day, lots of frost and fog everywhere...had to get with in 750 ft or so before I could see the tree clearly.
fyi ... they are now building a school on the grounds where this tree is...as per the sale of the land, the tree must stay. When the school opens, there will be a picture of this tree hanging in the halls, as I donated a 20x30 to the school of this picture and they graciously accepted

I captured this as I was driving by so the quality and lighting are obviously not so good but I can't seem to get rid of the series of photos I have from this day. A day that was surely terrible for this driver. It should be noted, per the local news, that the lady driving was not severely injured and no one was in the apartment. She had a medical condition that caused the accident. (5 years and 2927 days ago)
