I took the pic in Roma at pantheon, I have no idea where the instrument comes from.

It is an Erhu, sometimes referred to as the Chinese violin, it is one of China's most legendary string instruments.

interesting idea, and definitely on theme, however it is a shame that the image is so poor quality and off focus.

I would agree with Bart. I think if you positioned your light source in another place and tried to take a delayed exposure shot, you could improve this entry. I think the idea is good though and it's on theme but I'l hold my vote and see if you can't improve it.
