Great capture, what kind of snake is this?

At the time i thought it was a common type garden snake. I didn't hang around very long.

Love the light, but I would have cropped a bit more off the sides.

I can't believe you stayed there long enough to take the shot with it in that position! Brave move there!

p.s. but glad you did I almost got one of a black bear that was on the side of the road from me but I was too scared to see if the click would scare it into tearing me apart so I walked away and then ran as far as my smokers lungs would let me. THen I decided he could kill me if he wanted to cause I was outta breath and felt like I was dieing anyway...hehehe
