As babies these Sand Cranes are completely identical and pretty much remain that way as adults. Bob's on the right..or is he on the left. (5 years and 3553 days ago)

If I can just figure out which end is the front..I can ride this thing. (5 years and 3711 days ago)
I personally feel it could have benefited if the feet were in the frame to tie the foreground to the background an give it some depth.
Pretty funny
Agrees with Yarrum.
yep, I agree.........
I also agree....Unfortunately this moment was over in a second like Ali over Liston. Still cute.
Great catch, love it!
I don't think you need the feet in the shot. Most people can see that the background is the sandy arena and one would presume their feet are on it.
Congrats for your third place and a Happy New Year, Remsphoto!

My son's science project last year was skim boarding and friction. He compared 3 waxes from 3 different manufacturers, Mrs. Palmers, Mr. Zog's Sex Wax and Sticky bumps. He tied a fishing line with a weight attached and timed them as they fell to the ground. He learned quite a bit about wax. Sticky bumps was the winner, I sent his paper to the company and they sent him a free case of wax! So all of you surfers out there try Sticky Bumps! (5 years and 3711 days ago)
Could have been much improved with a quick crop and rotate so that it was straight and it had an interesting composition. Imho action shots work much better if the subject isn't just smack dab in the center, although there are acceptions.
sometimes, candid action angles like this work well...........and I think this is ok..........good luck...
Of course angled shots have their place. All I'm saying is that there are many angled lines in the background that imo it would have been a nice contrast to see some horizontal or vertical lines in the foreground and the subject was leaning into the center. And yes, goodluck author
Nice shot, agree with Ade
That definitely fits the theme. Good luck

It's a shame it's so blown out in the background.
Under a shade tree on a golf course. At least the lighter background gave the shot some depth. I'll try some adjustment.
Applied a little level adjustment, but it is what it is. Thanks for the comment.
Nice, but a little over exposed at the top
I just figured out the relevance to your title.
