Hard to tell that it's white

I honestly this this might look better in color.

The paper is white, the telephone dial is white. I don't know why you think It's not white. And thanks jaw, but there is no object in color...

I didn't say it's not white. I said it's hard to tell that it IS white. In the B&W it could just as easily be the beige those phones come in

My view is that making the photo B&W will not suffice for the theme..

well, arbroono, I could change it for the colored one, but does it worse it? white is white.

I like it, but then I tend to lean toward B/W's

If you bumped up the contrast and brightness a tad, this would have been a nicer entry.

I'm not agree,jawsh about contrast. If author would add even little more contrast, he(she) would end up with blown highlights. May be it would better look in the b&w though
