Geese mate for life which has nothing to do with a review of the photograph. Like the long format showing the birds' environment. A bit of overexposure on white, but the colour palette is natural and unpretentious. Both birds sharp and in focus.

Happily eating his acorn! (5 years and 1056 days ago)
Kudos to you for getting him eye level. With this POV you pull us into the shot quickly. The colour palette transforms this into photographic art. The eyes are sharp with a slight blur on his nose and whiskers which gives the story of him having a bit of a nosh and that is the exclamation mark that delights us visually. Love this...a lot.
Congrats Chieflong.

Snowshoeing through the woods I came across a few chickadees. I liked how this one is framed in by the snow on the branches. (5 years and 1056 days ago)
Snowshoeing...ahhh you make me homesick for my Canada. Your composition of this little beautiful fragile bird off center makes this photographic artistry. The inclusion of snowy branches in soft bokeh adds further meat to the visual story you present. You have great eye catchment, sharp clear we can see the feathers clearly...you do have slight blow out on white HOWEVER, our eyes see blow outs so why not our cameras, these blow outs add...do not subtracts from this well taken photograph. Those rocks cofuse the photo and a bit to much light on them, maybe a different viewpoint would have been a better choice
Nice closeup but you have a smudge on your lens and the blowouts on the rocks visually confuse us. I like the POV, nice and low but there are quite a few distractions.
