This one could be cropped a lot tighter, without loosing the story.
I agree... but if i cut a lot above (which i understand as the first choice, i would loose the print proportion. Or i need to cut part of the road...
but it would be possible as you are saying... The ladies would gain more emphasis
I'm not sure why you would worry about the print proportion, you photos can have any shape you like.
I would crop 1/3 off the top and 1/3 off the right.
This is of course only my suggestion and what you do is entirely up to you.

Maybe I got used to this evaluation due to another photography group that took this into account with pictures to be printed and win walls.
If this group does not take this into consideration, I will certainly adapt in future contests. Thanks again
