A horse foraging in the late afternoon in winter. (5 years and 924 days ago)
Lots to love about this shot. The silhouette is striking, the diagonal exciting, the colour palette warm hued. Just lovely.
Thank you

Not all fly south for the winter. Some are choosing to stay close to the city! (5 years and 1048 days ago)
This photograph evokes many a memory for me (a Canadian who used to eat these with our First Nation people who hunt them)...so thank you for the memories! They mate for life.
The photograph is pure and natural with good exposure sharpness on all motionless geese save for the one that is walking towards the crowd. Your exposure is skillfully done and this was not easy to shoot with all that white but you did well. A different POV would have transported this image into another realm of seeing, feeling , however, had you bent your knees to shoot them they may have taken off. Your WB button was well calibrated as the snow is white and not blue or purple. A well rendered image. Thank you and a pleasure to view.
