Nice shot that would have greatly benefited from sharpening and color/contrast adjustments. IMHO =D

It should have been a nice shot but it's out of focus. When you portrait someone, always take care that at least the eyes are perfectly focussed.

Very nice pict., but I think it would have looked much-much better in B&W. Just my humble opinion

Full view is a must!!! Love the spot where the branch/knot was perfectly dissected.
Thanks, so many photos are so much better in full view.

Very nice! When I look at your SBS, I notice that you have many filters I don't have, such as "Angel wash, Button images, Abstract watercolor, Chaotic crazy paint, Artomatic"... Have you downloaded these filters separately?
Yes, you can download them from the filter forge site.
When you open filter forge, look at the top right hand corner of the screen. You will see a blue link to filter library where you can download as many filters as you want out of the thousands they have.
Thanks for your reply. I've had a look and... wow! there are so many, it's incredible.
Oh this is so artistic and magical. When you do your filter forge steps do you have to do one layer, apply, then go out and then go back in to do the next step? I have to go out, then restart FF and try the next effect. Thank you for your time.
Yes you need to keep going in and out of the filter effects because you need to save each one before you do the next one, otherwise the second filter you use will over ride the previous one. I just keep layering the effects in photoshop and play around with blending them using various blending modes and opacities.
Ahhhh, it's you....I should've known.
You are very helpful. I hope this site gives you THE MOST HELPFUL award....mind you, so far, all the people I've contacted for help have been really kind .
The mods and some members seem to help a lot of people in private. I have found them to be very helpful too. I believe in the concept of paying forward the help that I have received in the past. You are also a very helpful person.
I'm really enamored with this site. My eyes are crossing from concentrating on filter forge and manipulations. What a great hobby, ay!
